What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for providing software, hardware and communications support for the AS400, peripherals, Data Centre, and the overall Distribution Centre with respect to SCAN applications.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate SCAN database records on a daily basis, while ensuring updates are entered, modified, and deleted as required in a timely fashion.
- Provides assistance and delivers on special projects related to SCAN (e.g. inventory preparation) as required.
- Effectively partners to ensure incoming Associates, (i.e. new hires, temporary and transferred Associates) are entered into the Scan database to facilitate the assignment of work functions.
- Supports all testing and implementation of various WMI system enhancements and roll outs.
About You:
- OSSD Grade 12 or equivalent, with 2+ years in data entry or systems administration.
- Understanding of Data Centre and Receiving operations within Distribution Services or logistics, flexibility, strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to data and accuracy.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships, strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, including responding to inquiries and identifying customer needs.
