What you’ll do
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation of new physical security equipment for all new stores, renovations, and relocations nationally, in alignment with TJX Canada store project plans.
- Coordinating the ordering, distribution, and implementation of physical security equipment (EAS, keys, alarms, access control and armored cars) for all new store openings, renovations, and relocations
- Oversees the day-to-day aspects of all multiple implementation initiatives occurring simultaneously, including the coordination of vendor scheduling, and ensuring timelines are met as well as monitoring and supporting vendor work on site
- Partners with external vendors to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions during and immediately after installation to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Partners with the Invoice Coordinator to ensure POs are created and paid on time
- Assists in contract management negotiations with external vendors to ensure receipt of the best resources and materials at the best value
- Performs administrative function within LP and provides back up support to other coordinators as required.
- Partners with field LP and DLPMs to ensure the efficient and successful completion of initiatives for new store openings/relocations based on a common checklist
What you’ll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
- Post-secondary education in Business preferred or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field
- Demonstrated written, verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to engage with business partners to help support department activities
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment
- Good problem-solving skills including analysis of information to effectively resolve issues and implement solutions
- Good project management skills by determining project requirements, timelines to launch and manage projects
- Strong sense of confidentiality; requires discretion and thorough knowledge of the organization’s operations, procedures, and policies
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); demonstrated spreadsheet skills to generate reports and queries; ability to setup formulas and lookup tables
Salary Range: $42,330 - $59,160
*This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
