The is responsible for the development, formatting, and execution of weekly merchandise communication packages distributed to stores and field management. This role includes all weekly presentation direction important for field execution, such as events, features, and front-of-store presentations. The Sr. Specialist will also handle the process of determining and communicating trend information, working with merchants to confirm merchandise trends, and creating documents that educate stores to drive sales through fashion-appropriate features. Additionally, they will oversee the permanent sign library, update, and assist in the development of training information and presentation-related documentation, and act as a mentor for other team members. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week on-site at our Framingham, MA headquarters.
What You Will Do:
- Prepare weekly presentation documentation and direction for stores and field management by partnering with Planning & Allocation, and Marketing teams.
- Create and disseminate documentation to stores in weekly communications and publish seasonal Trend Guides.
- Develop and prepare presentation training materials for stores and field management, including sign catalogs, sign restriction documents, and segments of the Merchandise Presentation Manual.
- Direct the distribution of this information in hard copy or Knowledge Base formats.
- Ensure communication is written in a manner for the target audience, that is on-brand, easy to understand, and distributed in a timely manner for maximum impact.
- Support the communication of store merchandise tests, provide input into test strategies, document and communicate tests to involved stores, follow through on in-store execution, and create follow-up strategies to monitor test success.
- Collaborate on communication for all major fixture rollouts and new merchandising strategies associated with those fixtures. Partner with appropriate departments to develop and communicate this information.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Knowledge of visual merchandise presentation techniques as well as store design and layout
- Ability to collaborate, partner and build effective working relationships with cross functional internal partners
- Proven experience communicating with all levels of leadership; demonstrates recognizable, confident executive presence
- Strong problem- solving, organization, and attention to detail with ability to multi-task
- Self-starter, comfortable working independently and within a team
- Thrives working in a fast-paced and flexible environment with changing priorities and deadlines
- Developed writing and editing skills
- Interest and ability to optimize communication tools to create more compelling and dynamic output
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Adobe platforms, including PowerPoint, Photoshop, and other visual presentation tools
- Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-4 years of comparable experience in a retail, marketing, or communications role

This position has a starting salary range of $72,100 to $91,800 per year.
