Market Manager Assistant
TJX is the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the world, delivering great value to our customers through the combination of brand, fashion, price, and quality. Our retail chains, present in nine countries, include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Winners, HomeGoods, Sierra, TK Maxx and Homesense.
A crucial part of our Company is represented by our Global Buying Offices, where resident buyers and sourcers purchase goods locally and scout regional markets looking for exciting products for our stores.
Global Buying Offices in Europe are present in Italy, UK, Portugal, Spain and we have Associates also in Poland and the Netherlands.
Job Summary
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-quality support to our Market Managers, helping coordinate business activities, meetings, and travel, while assisting with reporting and analysis. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations across our buying functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Market Managers with reports, spreadsheets, and meeting preparation
- Coordinate travel, itineraries, and calendars
- Assist with trade show planning and follow-up
- Organize expense reports and general administrative tasks
- Facilitate meetings and liaise with internal teams
- Maintain confidentiality and support in emergency situations
- Occasional business travel may be required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
- Previous experience in administrative roles is desirable
