Primary Purpose:
We’re looking for a LP Analyst to join our dynamic team! This position is responsible for gathering and analyzing Loss Prevention metrics and trends, providing actionable data and insights to LP Investigations teams. You'll deliver prioritized data, dashboards, and reports to support the initiation and execution of investigations, helping to reduce loss and mitigate shrink. What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for using and maintaining the resources of the Loss Prevention Systems Investigations Support and Analytics team (including Appriss, Refund Authorization System, Exception Reports, etc.), to conduct analysis and deliver data, dashboards, statistics, and reports to LP partners to action for investigations
- Produces high-quality leads, using business intelligence and disseminates to investigations team to support their efforts in reducing and preventing shrink, theft, fraud, and other losses
- Analyzes suspected and confirmed incidents of theft, fraud, and other losses, and disseminates findings to appropriate members of LP for investigation and resolution
- Supports the LP Analysis Supervisor and LP Remote Investigations Supervisor with documentation, training, systems administration, the development, and exploration of LP data, as well as project tasks as required
- Collaborates with and develops effective partnerships with LP Investigations teams to provide actionable leads using business intelligence for field to implement
About You:
- At least three years of experience in retail investigations, with a solid background in business intelligence and data analysis to deliver actionable insights for theft investigations.
- Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office, databases, web-based tools, and email.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, information gathering, and coaching. Capable of influencing business partners to prioritize activities and resources effectively.
- Strong investigative methodologies, analytical, and critical thinking skills to develop solutions. Ability to use prior experience and adapt quickly to changing work environments and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and effective decision-making.
