Overview:

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas: operational shrink control, internal investigations, safety, and shortage root cause analysis. This position will work a variety of ever-changing assignments within the department to include roles designed to monitor warehouse access control, gatehouse and distribution control, operations auditing, and internal investigations. Will take direction from a Lead Specialist and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Provide protection of all company assets including people, property, and information
• Conduct theft investigations including surveillance via CCTV and covert equipment
• Transact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activities
• Monitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulations
• Monitors access control to facility and inbound/outbound freight flow
• Serve as a business partner in operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink
• Ability to handle confidential information

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suites and the ability to learn and use in-house software packages. 
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV equipment and systems
• Ability to work both inside and outside during all types of weather

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an industrial setting: warehouse or distribution center
• Relevant work experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Security and / or a bachelor’s degree, or on track to obtaining a bachelor’s degree in a relevant major

Shift Schedule Openings:

Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 7:30pm

Monday-Thursday 6:00pm – 4:30am

Pay Range: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour
