IT Security Analyst IV

Duties :Provide an expert level of consultation to all teams in the area of IT technical, operational, and security vulnerabilities. Identify the existence of vulnerabilities in the environment, qualify and assess the operational and technical risk, prioritize action and provide solution recommendations. Maintain an expert knowledge in the technical areas relevant to IT vulnerabilities and their relationship to applicable systems. Analyze current standards and procedures to ensure vulnerabilities are removed to maintain an acceptable level of risk. Consult on the development or modification of software, network layer devices, and hardware to maintain an effective vulnerability management program. Act as a key contributor in the execution of readiness assessments and information sessions. Ensure the appropriate level of documentation for policies and procedures throughout the organization to meet vulnerability management effectiveness. Ensure asset owners are aware of vulnerabilities in their assets and effectively removing those vulnerabilities. Recommend steps to achieve and maintain an effective vulnerability management program. Recommend and evaluate systems enhancements and solutions. Lead efforts to plan and execute global assessment events. Up to 25% domestic travel to collaborate with associates at other offices or to attend industry conferences and technical training.
Requirements :Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or a related field plus eight (8) years of experience in IT.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
· Technical leadership experience in IT security, IT compliance, or IT risk functions
· Leading a vulnerability management program including experience with vulnerability scanning tools, CSS benchmarks, and cyber threat intelligence and the development of threat and vulnerability assessments across all technical environments on premise and in the cloud and containers.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
· Experience mentoring and coaching others in Vulnerability Management process and assessment techniques
· Presenting to committees, large groups, senior management, and executive leadership on Vulnerability Management processes, vulnerability assessments and vulnerability findings
· Experience in identifying, qualifying, assessing and remediating IT System vulnerabilities
