What you'll do
As a Global Programs Senior Specialist, you will support Global Sourcing and Procurement's (GS&P) initiatives in Supplier Diversity, Supplier Relationship Management, and Sustainability by coordinating administrative tasks, developing communication plans, and tracking activities. Your role involves building relationships with GS&P leaders and project teams to ensure projects meet their needs, gathering and validating reports, and conducting market research on emerging technologies. Additionally, you will assist in implementing technology and data strategies, updating communication materials, coordinating Strategic Initiative meetings, identifying diverse-owned businesses, and managing certification tracking. You will collaborate on sustainability tracking and provide reports, analyses, and recommendations while demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.
The Global Programs Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting activities outlined below:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support GS&P's global programs across Supplier Diversity, Supplier Relationship Management, and Sustainability.
- Coordinates and oversees global programs' administrative work, including developing and maintaining communication plans, building meeting presentations and summarizing notes, and leading roadmap and activity tracking and reporting.
- Develops and maintains relationships with GS&P leaders, management, and project teams to ensure the projects are supported and meet identified needs.
- Leads the gathering, validating, and maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for each program.
- Supports the creation, validation, consistency and accuracy of analytical reports and dashboards to report on performance and metrics.
- Supports market research on emerging technologies, industry trends, benchmarking, and best practices across all global programs.
- Supports the building, testing, and implementing technology and data strategies for global programs.
- Provides support for building program communications, branding decks, and any playbook or training material updates.
- Is an active participant and helps coordinate and track Strategic Initiative and Value Driver meetings and activity tracking.
- Supports searches for and reporting on diverse-owned businesses, maintaining contact lists, certification tracking, and managing registration lists and follow-ups.
- Provides support in coordinating, running and analyzing data across segmentation, risk, and financial viability requirements for the Supplier Relationship Program.
- Provides support for coordinating and executing sustainability tracking across multiple platforms.
- Partners closely with global program leaders, the GBS Program Manager and GS&P2030 strategic planning team
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Working Hours: 14:30 to 23:30 IST.
Decision Making:
- Independently generates reports and provides analysis.
- Leads tracking and reporting of roadmap activities, providing recommendations to program leads
Scope of Responsibility:
- Supports the operational and reporting processes for executing the Supplier Diversity, Supplier Relationship Management, and Sustainability Programs.

- Basic understanding of Category Management, Purchasing and Supplier Management fundamentals.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years in sourcing, supply management, procurement, project management, finance, or related experience.
- Must have attention to detail, sound analytical skills, and ability to interpret/communicate financial information.
- Team-oriented, flexible, must be able to work and communicate with all levels of management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Strong training & development skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sourcing, supply management, business or finance is beneficial but not essential. Relevant work experience is essential.
- Experience in the retail industry and managing multinational Business Partners and suppliers
