Global Continuous Improvement Manager – Black Belt


Summary
Leads, manages and directs complex projects using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and other process improvement methodologies to deliver measurable and validated results.  Supports the process improvement program through the development and delivery of Lean Six Sigma material and training.  Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced Associates such as Green Belts and Yellow Belts. Supports and drives innovative strategies at TJX.  Leads Process Optimization workshops to support the Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation journey at TJX.

Major Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Leads, manages, and directs complex projects using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and other process improvement methodologies. 
  • Responsible for the delivery of measurable and validated results. 
  • Scopes and assists in project definition for LSS projects. 
  • Guides the project team through all phases of the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) roadmap. 
  • Identifies the "Voice of the Customer" through data collection, surveys, and interviews. 
  • Oversees the collection and analysis of data. Provides recommendations on the use of Lean and DMAIC tools. 
  • Performs capability analysis and reviews statistical tests for accuracy.
  • Leads the project team in the generation and evaluation of solutions.
  • Develops pilot and control plans to ensure project gains are sustainable.
  • Leads Process Optimization workshops, is knowledgeable in the Agile Scrum methodology, Jira and Product Manager/Owner roles. 
  • Supports the Intelligent Automation and Robotic Process Automation journey at TJX.
  • Supports the creation of IA and RPA Value case documentation.
  • Supports the process improvement program through the development and delivery of process improvement material and training. 
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of the Process Improvement standards and methods utilizing industry best practices. 
  • Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced Associates such as Green Belts.
  • May participate on project teams outside of the functional area as a subject matter expert (SME). 
  • Supports and drives innovative strategies at TJX, is cognizant of the evolving continuous improvement external and internal landscape and is capable of enabling new strategies for TJX, including the Intelligent Automation program

Minimal Requirements / Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Operations Management, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Math, Statistics or another technical major preferred)
  • Black Belt or Green Belt certification required
  • Agile, Safe, PMP, PgMP or Prince2 certification an advantage 
  • 3 years of experience in Process Improvement, Quality, Operations, or a technical discipline

This position has a starting salary range of $101,700.00 to $132,200.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
