Job Description:
We’re looking for Finance Analyst Co-ops to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and partnering with various business areas to support accounting and reporting functions like budgeting and forecasting. You'll have the chance to build meaningful relationships, contribute to process improvement projects, and assist in presenting insights to management, helping drive strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Do:
Learn about and contribute to TJX Canada Finance function which includes analysis of financial data while partnering with various business areas to provide support for accounting/reporting functions including budgeting, forecasting and analyzing variances
Establish positive business relationships with various business partners and assist in supporting improvement and business analysis projects
Assist in preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reports
Partner with all stakeholders to assist in preparing financial analysis and presenting recommendations to management on an ad-hoc basis to assist in decision making
Assist in performing general accounting month-end/year-end duties such as sub-ledger close, posting journal entries including accruals/adjusting entries, and compiling balance sheet reconciliations and schedules in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
About You:
Pursuing a post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics
Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment / business partnering division partnering
