DC Data Entry Clerk
Job Summary
Enters all Production and Indirect data into the Productivity Accountability Tracking System (PATS)/Labor Management software not interfaced directly from SCAN. Analyzes each associates' daily activity to identify and correct issues with data transmission, incorrect transferring of associates, and Indirect requests that do not fit into the time slot as requested. Interacts with Supervisors to ensure issues are resolved. Requires a high level of sensitivity to payroll deadlines and accuracy of productivity and indirect data to ensure incentive pay for associates is timely and accurate. Archives data to meet all personnel payroll requirements.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Verifies Start and Stop times in the PATS system for each associate each day. Reviews each associates' activity to identify and correct issues with data interfaced from SCAN. Keys in Indirect time from Logs. Ensures Indirect time appears to be accurate and does not compromise the data integrity of other assignments.
- Downloads Production data collected through handheld non-RF/non-SCAN devices. Analyzes raw data to ensure correct order of scans, identify missing scans and corrects as necessary. Generates all necessary reports and creates assignments in PATS. Stores all raw data appropriately to meet data retention requirements.
- Keys in Exception and Adjustment Logs. Ensures that all Logs are turned in for each Associate each day, and reports any issues to area supervisors. Monitors that all Logs returned to the Supervisor for correction are turned back in to the office in a timely manner in order to ensure that Incentive Pay deadlines are met.
- Archives all Production and Indirect Logs to meet payroll record retention requirements. Trains as a backup to the PATS/IT Supervisor for the Payroll Extraction process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum formal education, if any, required to perform this job e.g., Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Law Degree):
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum job skills required to perform this job (for example: programming languages, strong interpersonal skills, computer software packages):
Good communication skills
Good attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of DC internal operations and procedures desired
Knowledge of Warehouse Management System
Good analytical skills
Knowledge of Windows based applications and spreadsheet software (Excel, Lotus 123, etc)
Must be able to work flexible schedule, i.e., overtime/split shift
Ability to work with limited supervision
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to keep confidentiality
Minimum experience required to perform this job:
One-year related business experience with PC experience preferred
Pay Range: $15.20 $20.50 $25.80
