Job Description:

We’re looking for a Customer Insights Data Analyst for an 18-month contract to help shape data-driven strategies that enhance customer engagement and loyalty. In this role, you’ll turn complex data into compelling stories using tools like SQL and Power BI, uncovering key patterns in customer behavior and campaign performance. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights that drive smarter decisions and innovative solutions. What You’ll Do:

  • Leverage analytical and technical expertise to address key business objectives, enabling fact-based decision-making and strategic insights.
  • Execute data queries using tools like SQL and Power BI to uncover customer behaviour patterns and translate findings into compelling stories through data visualization.
  • Analyze customer metrics including shopping frequency, transaction trends, category purchases, cross-shop behavior, basket size, and demographics to inform business strategies.
  • Manage customer lists for loyalty and brand campaigns, ensuring accurate targeting and alignment with campaign goals to drive engagement and retention.
  • Monitor loyalty program performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support customer acquisition, cross-sell opportunities, and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate on research initiatives and brainstorming sessions, synthesizing data from multiple sources to support the Consumer Insights Manager and contribute to innovative customer-focused solutions.

About You:

  • Minimum College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field, with 3-5 years working experience in marketing analysis and research.
  • High degree of proficiency in SQL, Power BI and PC applications such as Microsoft Office, specifically, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Excellence: Demonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail with a passion for understanding customer behavior. Skilled in translating complex analytics into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative & Influential Team Player: Builds trust and fosters a culture of partnership. Able to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Adaptable & Self-Motivated Learner: Thrives in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Quickly grasping new technologies and concepts, consistently seeking ways to add value.
  • Strong Communication & Time Management: Effective oral and written communicator with excellent time estimation and follow-up skills. Balances autonomy with accountability to drive business results.

Salary Range: $60,082.50-$84,115.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
