The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.
- Ensure all store bank reconciliations are accurately balanced to the general ledger.
- Research all reconciling items with banks, stores, and Loss Prevention in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily research on outstanding items for all divisions with any contracted vendors
- Prepare weekly journal entries to adjust reconciling items to their proper accounts.
- Verify monthly bank statements to the general ledger to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the liability and cash accounts.
- Research all outstanding reconciling items by requesting information from banks, stores and armored carriers.
- Record and track all outstanding reconciling items from initial identification through completion.
- Research and request reimbursement for deposit discrepancies.
- Submit weekly journal entries to adjust reconciling items to their proper accounts.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the General Ledger.
- Special projects as assigned.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Ability to multitask while assessing the urgency of outstanding items and prioritizing accordingly
- Must be comfortable working in the gray, applying critically thinking to a variety of situations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other general computer functions
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Attentive to details
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and stretch yourself professionally
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must be adaptable

This position has a starting pay range of $19 to $24.25 per hour.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
