• Ensure all store bank reconciliations are accurately balanced to the general ledger.   

• Research all reconciling items with banks, stores, and Loss Prevention in a timely manner.   

• Conduct daily research on outstanding items for all divisions with any contracted vendors  

• Prepare weekly journal entries to adjust reconciling items to their proper accounts.   

• Verify monthly bank statements to the general ledger to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the liability and cash accounts.   

• Research all outstanding reconciling items by requesting information from banks, stores and armored carriers.  

• Record and track all outstanding reconciling items from initial identification through completion. 

• Research and request reimbursement for deposit discrepancies. 

• Submit weekly journal entries to adjust reconciling items to their proper accounts. 

• Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of the General Ledger. 

• Special projects as assigned. 

Who We Are Looking For: You.  

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred 

• Ability to multitask while assessing the urgency of outstanding items and prioritizing accordingly 

• Must be comfortable working in the gray, applying critically thinking to a variety of situations 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other general computer functions 

• Strong time-management and organizational skills 

• Attentive to details 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

• Willingness to learn and stretch yourself professionally 

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment 

• Must be adaptable
