The TJX Campus Recruiting team is on a mission to amplify the awareness and excitement for our student opportunities and programs for coops, internships and soon-to-be graduating or recently graduated college students. As a growing and recognized global retail leader, the Campus Recruiter plays an important role at TJX within the Talent Acquisition organization.
In this role, you’ll partner with multiple stakeholders – from human resources, corporate functions, business stakeholders, etc. – to ensure TJX student opportunities are appropriately presented, amplified, and engaging the next generation of student leaders to TJX. TJX Campus Recruiters are tasked with strategizing, planning, and flawlessly executing campus recruitment activities and programming to attract, engage, and hire the most talented, diverse, and passionate students to TJX across multiple student opportunities (ex. coop, internship, post-graduation) and functional areas (ex. Merchandising, IT, Finance, Distribution, Loss Prevention, etc.).
Critical for success is a passion for candidate / client experience and relationship development. Also necessary is the mindset of continuous improvement focusing on enhancing, evolving, and optimizing the campus recruiting experience for all – always keeping an eye out for improved approaches and an openness to feedback. We are also seeking a self-starter who is a resourceful problem-solver with a delivery and results-oriented mindset. A strong background and track record of successfully delivering against challenging projects and timelines is a must.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
· Campus Recruiting Champion – Demonstrated ability to consistently identify and recruit a diverse mix of campus talent from all types of colleges and universities. Understands nuances associated with campus recruiting and able to pro-actively plan with consideration to external and internal factors to influence and maximize TJX campus recruiting results.
· Candidate Experience Focused – Demonstrated ability to design, facilitate, and expand best in class candidate and client experiences – placing candidates and clients above self.
· Relationship Driven – Demonstrated ability to manage existing relationships and identify new internal and external relationships to promote and advance TJX campus recruiting results.
· Project / Program Management Master – Demonstrated ability to plan / develop, drive, and deliver complex and cross-functional projects / programs in an efficient and collaborative manner to meet or exceed deadlines.
· Coach / Trainer – Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and facilitate training or education sessions with internal and external audiences on topics such as: company info sessions, campus recruiting programs, candidate experience, interview training, etc.
· Strategic Planner – Demonstrated ability to participate and drive strategic planning activities pertaining to campus recruiting - including all aspects of sourcing, recruiting, and hiring.
· Analytical Thinker – Demonstrated ability to analyze large sets of data and feedback in order to extract key insights to inform and develop a strategy, leading to mobilization of organizational resources to execute.
· Results & Data Oriented – Demonstrated ability to track, report, and analyze campus recruiting measures to validate campus success and/or identify opportunity areas; assess effectiveness and inform decision making on future investments and areas of opportunity to all levels of the organization.
· Continuous Learner – Demonstrated ability to learn and upskill self through employer provided and self-driven activities and offerings.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent
· 3-5 years of professional work experience; preferably in a large corporate environment
· 2+ years of related and progressive hands-on campus recruiting experience
· Strong track record of successfully leading and completing complex and cross-functional projects in a global corporate environment
· Ability to effectively work independently and in small or large team settings
· Confidence and comfortability operating in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments
· Previous experience planning and delivering talent programs; previous coop, internship, post-grad, or diversity program management experience strongly preferred
· Previous experience and familiarity working with Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment tools; SuccessFactors experience a plus
· Ability to travel (>25%, overnight) and work outside of standard business hours during peak campus recruiting season as required
