What you’ll do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:

·  This position is responsible for processing and administration of non –occupational claims for Field and Home Office Associates and Managers, and with the applicable agencies / carriers in a timely manner with regular follow up.  Ensures safe and timely return to work by partnering with Management and Operations to establish and monitor return to work plans for all non-occupational injury or illness.
·  Process from end to end, non- occupational claims and related paperwork with internal and external partners (i.e.  HR Express) and (i.e. Insurance Carriers, and Third Party Providers).
·  Demonstrate sensitivity and effectiveness in dealing with ill or injured Associates and Associates with disabilities.
·  Implements work plans / agreements to ensure both a safe and durable return to work for Associates and cost effective disability management practices on behalf of the business
·  Recommend, build, and amend complex work plans and intervention tactics for quick resolution.

 

What you’ll need

To begin your career with us, you’ll have:

·  Working towards a Disability Management certification or related certification.
·  A minimum of 3-5 years of claims related work experience, with asolid understanding of RTW process.
·  Knowledge of: Return to Work Practices, Works Compensation Legislation, Human Rights Legislation, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability practices.
·  Must have a valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle in order to attend off-site meetings and mediations
