Job Description:
The Opportunity: Grow Your Career.
- Supervise the processes and activities of the Sales Audit Department to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate reporting of sales related accounts, including but not limited to, sales, credit, and other forms of payment receivables and expenses, chargeback expense, merchandise credit, gift certificate, and stored value card liabilities
- Ensure monthly close functions, including complex reconciliations, journal entries and reports for all sales related accounts
- Conduct forecasts for usage, rate, and industry change components to provide guidance on trends for rolling and original plans
- Review several key financial management reports, highlighting key aspects for reference, including Executive Summary
- Provides accurate and timely ad-hoc analysis for internal requests, as well as all levels of business
- Leading and overseeing workloads to ensure time critical projects are delivered as expected
- Supervising and mentoring associates with training and professional development
- Building relationships with operational partners across the business
- Communicates and resolves systems issues with the Systems divisions as related to financial data
- Partners with the Systems division to develop, test, and implement new business plans and system improvements
- Presents on analyses related to usage, rate, gift cards, and other topics
- Supervise internal and external Audit requests
Who We’re Looking for: You.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; MBA or CPA a plus
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, or other related fields
- Prior experience preferred in leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to deliver insights, recommendations, and results concisely and effectively to Executive Level management
- Ability to work with ambiguity, removing obstacles and maintaining focus in complicated situations to deliver results for self and team
- Promotes collaboration within team & cross-functionally and actively finds opportunities for improvements
