Responsibilities:
- Reviews requests for creation of new vendors and factors. This includes research of existing vendors for duplicates and review of vendor corporate legal names (vs. labels or licenses) to ensure accuracy and completeness of the vendor master file. Researches and validates invoices and other legal documents prior to creating and/or changing vendor data in the Accounts Payables systems.
- Obtains proper documentation prior to updating vendor information, addresses, and banking data. Ensures changes are executed accurately and documentation is retained according to company/audit guidelines.
- Enters bank codes and creates affiliations between vendors and banks for both Import wire and letters of credit payments in the vendor master file. Ensures proper documentation and signatures are received prior to taking action.
- Reviews vendor corporate structures and legal connections to establish permanent relationships between purchase order vendors and invoice vendors in the A/P system.
- Places vendors, purchase orders, and invoices on hold as requested. Changes the class or status of vendors as requested by Merchandising, Legal, and/or Accounts Payables management.
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business desired
- Associates degree acceptable
- Strong problem solving and research skills
- Strong attention to details
- Solid organizational skills
- Strong follow through skills Good PC skills
- Good communication skills.

This position has a starting pay range of $19 to $24.25 per hour.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
