Major Areas of Responsibility
- Performs a variety of duties such as Conduct Schedule Maintenance for all conveyor systems
- Assist Technicians and mechanics in repairs
- Unload Bales from bale table and load in trailer
- Replace wire on baler as needed
- Replace / repair office lighting
- Paint, repair office walls
- Replace ceiling tiles
- Repair dock equipment
- Escort contractors to work areas ( as needed)
- Change batteries for all PIT equipment
- Wash and water batteries – Monthly
•Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of a facility.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the work areas.
- Inspecting all electrical units and systems and ascertaining the proper functioning of the same.
- Keeping a record of all the day to day maintenance activities undertaken in a facility.
- Maintaining service cycle records.
- Reporting defects, damages and malfunctions of any kind to the supervising authority.
- Complying with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while working.
- Effectively completing all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager.
- Coordinate work processes with other internal departments of the establishment.
