The Europe Africa Business Unit is the second-largest of thyssenkrupp Elevator’s four Business Units. This regional unit handles the sale, installation and servicing of elevators, escalators and moving walks. The Business Unit’s headquarters – thyssenkrupp Elevator Europe Africa – is located in Essen in Germany and in Madrid in Spain, from where it coordinates activities in Germany, France, the British Isles, Austria, Switzerland, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia, Iberia, Italy, Turkey, Eastern Europe and Africa. In fiscal 2015/2016 the Business Unit had almost 15,000 employees and generated sales of €2.1 billion in 31 countries.
Your responsibilities
· You will be working and cooperate closely with the subsidiaries belonging to OU BBN
· As a Service Manager you will be responsible for the transnational service sales support
· Your task is to assist the continuous optimization of service processes of the subsidiaries
· Service controlling and service follow-up in the countries / subsidiaries is a part of your daily business
· This role includes being a contact person and country coordinator for parent companies
· You autonomously prepare and implement analyses, reports and strategy presentations, among others for management
Your profile
· You should possess a university degree in economics, industrial engineering or equivalent
· You have minimum 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in the service area of an industrial company
· We expect high analytical and conceptual skills, as well as strong process and problem solving orientation
· Communication skills and high teamwork are a plus in this job
· We are looking for someone who has experience in aftersales and also the willingness to travel
· You have a high affinity for IT, Mobile Solution and ERP Key User
· Very good written and spoken English - another foreign language is advantageous, for example Dutch
