Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced administrative coordinator to function as Repair Coordinator in Frisco, TX.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Enters new repair bookings as sold by sales or as part of a contract; enters non-billable repairs, including unit ID, scope of work, materials and estimated labor hours

·  Communicates frequently with customers to schedule repairs, answer questions and to follow up after repair completion
·  Maintains the backlog database, includes reviewing costs with repair managers and superintendents, coordinating cost corrections with payroll and purchasing
·  Checks job costs for repairs that the superintendent has communicated as ready to bill; updates if costs are in the line with the estimate
·  Requests material surveys and confirms materials when the superintendent does not provide the part number on the estimate sheet
·  Distributes operations backlog report to superintendents, separating billable and non-billable for margin calculation purposes; flags jobs with outstanding issues and lists manager responsible for resolving
·  Organizes and facilitates the weekly backlog review meeting with branch personnel to review all repairs in progress, review scheduled jobs and reassign as indicated, review unscheduled jobs, and task mechanics as directed
·  Invoices repairs; includes resolving service costing issues, verifying correct billing information, creating and printing invoices
·  Closes repair jobs so that revenue can be recognized; ensures accurate costing
·  Generates weekly revenue report
·  Perform other duties as assigned

Your profile

·  High school diploma or GED (general education degree); or one year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training in basic business administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
·  Some elevator repair administrative work
·  Oracle database knowledge
