Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Internal Controls Coordinator in Kennesaw, GA .

Essential duties and responsibilities:

·  Coordinating the dissemination of internal controls requests through the SharePoint site including requests for populations
·  Perform quality control reviews over documents provided from the control owners to ensure that requested evidence was submitted. This includes requests for populations, samples and testing evidence for initial and remediation testing
·  Provide ICD management with weekly status reports regarding the SharePoint metrics
·  Ensure the accuracy of internal controls testing results processed into SAP
·  Assist Internal Controls Management in developing managerial reporting
·  Perform proper planning to ensure that all SAP/ICS established deadlines are met. Keep ICD management apprised of potential delays/roadblocks
·  Participate in planning, results, and remediation meetings
·  Report testing exceptions to the Internal Controls Manager and follow up on remediation efforts in a timely manner
·  Communicate effectively in a clear and professional manner to all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing using appropriate terminology and communication methods
·  Assist in designing, implementing, and communicating key reports and test results for management on compliance obligations and progress against compliance plans
·  Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your profile

·  Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting/Audit/Finance preferred,
·  2-3 years of administrative experience or equivalent experience in internal controls testing. Experience with SOX 404 is a plus
·  Understanding of general business processes
·  Experience in the fields of management documentation and testing compliance is a plus
·  Demonstrated analytical skills
·  Thorough, diligent and detail oriented documentation skills.
·  Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office suite, query tools and databases. Advanced Access/Excel and Data Analytical Tools is desirable.
·  Strong oral and written communication skills
·  Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
·  Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as multi-task
·  General knowledge of governance, risk and compliance framework (COSO, COBIT, ITGC etc.)
·  Strong organizational and planning skills
·  Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment
·  Good communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of the organization
·  Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
