Threads Styling was established in 2009 by ex-fashion buyer and stylist Sophie Hill. “The new focus of Threads is that our clients can be anywhere in the world and we will work to source them the fashion piece their heart desires. Whether it is a Hermes Birkin, Chanel jacket or pair of Christian Louboutin shoes we will track them down and send it out personally to reach it’s new home.”This mantra and professional service has acquired a faithful following of international clients spanning the UK, US, Middle East, Hong Kong & China.Threads is also looking to expand into South America & Russia in 2013. In addition it has great partnerships with corporate clients such as Amex, Quintessentially & Paramount Pictures.
=Job Specification=
Exciting opportunity to join a growing team at a leading international luxury fashion concierge based in central London. The post will last for 3 months and it is essential that the new Intern will fit into this still small but growing team of 8. The Intern will need to show impeccable attention to detail, be creative within their role as well as possess controlled organisational skills. Good number skills are also essential with a basic understanding of Excel as well as good iMac computer skills (please highlight this on your application).
Main duties will include but not be limited to:
•Researching luxury fashion items
•Sourcing luxury items for clients
•Liaising with boutiques worldwide
•Collecting/delivering items throughout London
•Packing and shipping
•Responding to customer enquiries
•Helping with any upcoming events
•Assisting with administrative duties
•Assisting the sales team and Director on an Ad Hoc basis
Desired profile
=Essential & Desired skills=
•Education qualifications (please state on application)
•Previous experience in a fashion related role
•Excellent research skills
•Sense of style and appreciation of fashion
•An interest in luxury fashion and good knowledge of current and past trends
•Ability to work to tight deadlines
•Knowledge of a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases
•Good knowledge of Mac computers, Outlook for Mac or Mac Mail and Web Hosting Facilities
•Second language (desired, not essential)
