Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Web Designer to join our Online Marketing Team within Tax & Accounting. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day web marketing operations of our external websites. We are looking for a well-rounded individual to share in design, front-end coding, email marketing, quality assurance and testing. Responsibilities:

· Translate requirements and designs into front-end code utilizing hand coded HTML and CSS
· Generate traffic, increase brand awareness, establish relationships, and strengthen audience loyalty through web marketing initiatives.
· Work with content writers, graphic designers, and back-end developers on website updates and additions
· Design, coordinate, code, and distribute email marketing communications
· Assist in the architecture and design of intuitive user experiences across the web properties
· Design web banners and graphics
· Provide thorough testing of website properties including cross browser and mobile compatibility
· Stay up-to-date on emerging web technologies and promote usability standard methodologies

Desired profile

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Technology/Information Systems, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field
·  A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a related position
·  Ability to write valid, accessible HTML and CSS
·  Experience with Eloqua or similar email marketing platform
·  Strong knowledge of web design best practices with the ability to create web graphics and layout
·  Experience with content management systems
·  Strong understanding of web navigation, user habits, web design trends, cross-browser and platform compatibility issues
·  Experience with responsive design
·  Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office
·  Ability to work well under pressure including adapting to changing objectives and deadlines
·  Work effectively in a team environment and in collaboration with other departments
·  Ability to multi-task, manage time well, and stay organized
·  Experience with Javascript and jQuery
·  Experience with email testing services such as Litmus
·  E-commerce content management and merchandising experience
·  Experience with web reporting tool(s) such as Google Analytics or Coremetrics
