Job description
This position leads and supports the implementation of the Aumentum Recorder software. As a member of the implementation team, the Technical Consultant works with Records Management county government customers to help them address the challenges of work process automation, technology implementation, and associated organizational change.
List major responsibilities of this position:
· Analyze each customer's current business processes to develop business requirements and recommendations for the best customer solution
· Document detailed business requirements in a formal Business Process Analysis format
· Assist in functional design and documentation of the product and technical specifications
· Configure, localize and test applications in compliance with project requirements
· Conduct software configuration workshops for county supervisors and formal software review for customer authorization
· Create training curriculum and conduct onsite application training for all end users
· Prepare site for “go live” event, including final set up of client machines, peripherals, testing and issue resolution
· Provide support for users once system is live through onsite visits and/or working with Customer Operations team
· Assist customers in development of custom reports/modification of standard reports
· Document and track project issues via an online ticket tracking tool
· Support the sales process by assisting with proposal development, product and customer presentations
· Contribute ideas for product enhancement and participate in new product development
· Create and/or edit product and training documentation needed for each site

· Technology consulting experience
· Preferred knowledge in the areas of local government business processes specifically related to county recording, courts automation, or similar functions.
· Preferred knowledge and use of state of the art document management tools and their application to business process automation problems
· Bachelor degree in computer or business related field plus a minimum of three years project implementation work or combination thereof
· Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
· Extensive business travel is required with frequency determined at the supervisor's discretion. Travel requirement may be up to 50%.
· May require extended work schedules, tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
· Must be able to work in a variety of social, cultural, legal, and political environments
· Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by the supervisor's discretion
Knowledge in the following or similar areas:
· Thin client applications and PC/Web environments
· Microsoft Windows Business Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet Explorer)
· Visio Professional
· WebEx/PC Anywhere/Remote support tools
· Preferred relational database experience (Access, Crystal Reports, etc.), SQL query language/tools
