Primary Objectives
The primary objective of the Marketing Automation Specialist is to assist in lead generation methods – provide campaign insight to support marketing objectives and goals. The position will be responsible for effectively delivering qualified marketing leads by optimizing email templates and campaign flows – measuring results through in-depth reporting.
Key Responsibilities
· Work with the marketing team to determine goals, target segments, campaign flows, creative and metric requirements for each campaign.
· Create, deploy, and monitor automated marketing campaigns using Eloqua.
· Enforce marketing automation and demand generation best practices.
· Assist with the development and creation of HTML emails.
· Work with design / marketing operations team to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
· Build new and maintain existing marketing reports.
· Develop testing strategies for template formats, subject lines and landing pages.
· Maintain email promotional calendar, events and creative content in partnership with marketing team efforts.
· Ensure promotional messaging and creative consistency across advertising programs where appropriate.
· Deliver emails that are proofed, accurate and in-line with other best practices.

Desired profile
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
· A genuine interest in new digital media, specifically the e-marketing environment
· BA degree required
· Marketing automation experience (preferably Eloqua)
· Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
· Working knowledge of HTML
· Solid understanding of demand generation tactics and best practices
· Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment; a “can-do” attitude is essential
· At least three years of related experience
· Experience with enterprise CRM database systems
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
· Strong computer skills proficiency in Microsoft Office
