Data Scientist Intern

Job description

We have an intern position available for a big data research assistant. This person will aid members of the development department in researching tools that can help transform raw data into actionable, useful information.

With ongoing mentoring by our experienced staff, you"ll transform classroom theory into real-life experience. The knowledge you gain during your internship will give you the skills necessary to transition into the workforce, or possibly into a full-time position on our staff.

During this full-time, paid internship you will:

· Understanding business problems and translating it into data mining problems
· Research available web analytic tools
· Help gain meaning and insight from a complex set of data
· Discover best use of predictive analysis for customers
· Investigate usage analytics to aid design and prioritization
· Evaluate key metrics
