Project Summary and Position Overview:
The reference products available on Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence and Compliance Complete consist of a suite of databases from jurisdictions around the world that clients use to ensure they satisfy their regulatory and legal obligations. We are expanding our team of editors to extend our global coverage and allow us to build a new Actionable Intelligence product for launch in 2017.
Content Editors are responsible for daily updates, maintenance and summaries of relevant material in the products' databases.
Essential Day to Day Responsibilities:
· Monitoring a variety of different external sources e.g. websites, and capturing relevant content.
· Editing and updating internal content in response to regulatory or legislative changes.
· Summarising regulations and regulatory changes.
Desired profile
Required Skills:
· Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of literacy
· Impeccable time-keeping, meeting all deadlines through effective prioritisation
· Good judgement and logical thought process
· Responsible and mature approach to work
· Good organisational skills
· An interest in the regulation of financial services
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Team spirit / orientation
· Computer literacy
· Fluency in English
Desired Skills:
· Knowledge of HTML/XHTML
· Understanding of content management systems
· Experience of web-based research
