Position Summary

IFR is seeking an energetic and motivated reporter to cover Asia's fast-growing bond markets. The ideal candidate will be able to combine speed with attention to detail, and must show an interest in both breaking news and delivering market-leading insight and analysis.

Responsibilities

· The reporter will be driving IFR's market-leading coverage of new bond issues from South and South-East Asia. He or she will need to build strong relationships with market participants and be able to explain trends and market moves clearly and accurately

Desired profile

Preferred Skills and Experience:

· Good communication skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential.
· Indian language skills are an advantage as India region will be main market focus
· Journalism experience is essential. Priority will be given to candidates with experience covering financial markets

Education / Certifications:

· BA/BSc. Relevant qualifications in finance/economics or journalism are desirable but not essential. At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
