Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for managing and executing SEO plans for Condor.com and Thomascookairlines.be (Belgium)
· Helping drive commercial SEO success in the German market
· Keyword research and input with content creation
· Responsible for Agency Management and ensure that all briefs are being met
· Running regular audits and performance reviews
· Conducting SEO experiments under the guidance of the Group Airline HQ in London
· Work with the teams on developing SEO content strategy & related projects that may be recommended from agencies
· Keeps up to date with latest SEO trends and educates other areas of the business in Condor who indirectly impact the SEO performance
· Lead the production of content through internal and external resources ensuring all internal stakeholders are briefed and feedback taken on board
· Leveraging group resources to make the German SEO program a success - strong communication between internal departments and Group Airline is essential
· Being revolutionary in the methods
· Take active part in SEO work stream with ownership for some items (Creation and specification of JIRA Tickets)
· Takes a methodical analytical approach to SEO by testing a hypothesis based on evidence supported from factual research and or data driven insights
· Work closely with the analytics teams to improve conversion and engagement rates, you will produce value adding reports on SEO category performance to clearly show the effectiveness of your campaigns
· Works alongside trading, social media and PPC teams to align strategies for target destinations
· Share initiatives, best practices and results with the wider Group Airline (Thomas Cook Airlines United Kingdom, Condor and Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium)
Desired profile
Personal Skills, Knowledge and Experience
· The candidate must be an SEO expert with strong tactical experience and acute instincts
· Minimum of 3 years' experience acquired either in SEO agencies dealing with large eCommerce clients or in-house managing SEO for a large-scale eCommerce website
· Expert understanding and use of SEO tools
· Solid experience of keyword research
· Up to date with content, semantics, on page optimisation, influencing external ranking signals
· Ability to drive clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses of SEO performance
· Proven ability to work closely with technical and non-technical teams
· Solid data analysis skills and ability to identify actionable insights from large datasets
· Understanding of scientific methodology: test & learn, MVT
· Proven track record assuming ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas, and delivering results in a fast-paced online environment
· Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects
· Experience working with remote international teams
· Evidence of influencing and challenging key stakeholders to implement SEO
· Highly competent with spreadsheets and presenting data correctly in an easy to digest format (Excel, Google docs, etc...)
· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
