Role
3 year Apprenticeship - Aircraft Cabin Trimmer Apprentice will be trained to repair and refurbish aircraft interior components and structures on and off aircraft using approved techniques and also gaining knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance procedures.
Apprentice duties will involve working with Skilled Aircraft Trimmers / Engineering staff ref. below key tasks :-
· To carry out cabin maintenance tasks ensuring the highest possible standards in the most time efficient process.
· To action any current and deferred Cabin defects ensuring rectification in a timely manner under the supervision of the Cabin Maintenance Supervisor
· Ensure timely communication of any cabin related operational problems.
· Maintain an awareness and working knowledge of the latest Technical Instructions, Bulletins, information and Procedures from all sources including, but not limited to, TCX, Boeing, and Airbus.
· Liaise with the cabin presentation officers when required to collectively ensure a high standard of cabin presentation Other job duties include the use of aircraft maintenance and operating systems

· A keen interest and enthusiasm for body repair and the industry as a whole.
· To be honest and trustworthy with a willingness to learn.
· A positive attitude and work ethic, with high level of professionalism.
· To be able to work effectively as part of a team in a busy hangar environment, as well as having the capability to follow instructions and work individually.
Qualifications required
Applicants are required to have, or predicted to obtain, GCSE Grade A*-D or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in the following subjects:
· English
· Maths
· A practical subject
