Our business, comprising Ryman, Boux Avenue and Robert Dyas, is owned by its Chairman, Theo Paphitis, one of the UK’s most high profile business leaders.
Reporting into the Group Events Manager. The Events assistant will support in delivering a range of Events activities to increase the profile of the Chairman, the businesses within TPRG, Theo’s other investments, and Small Business Sunday (#SBS).
As an Events Assistant you will:
- Support the Group Events Manager in obtaining and coordinating the availability of colleagues in the Trading Businesses and Group departments to support the delivery of key events.
- Assist the Group Events Manager in planning and delivering all Group events, but specifically the Group incentive trip, company conferences, New Year parties, supplier events, SBS, and Comic/Sport relief events.
- Communicate activities, time lines and deadlines with the Trading Businesses. Collate and analyse data to enable an objective review of current events and improved planning and delivery of future events.
What you will need to have:
- Proven experience of working on large complex and high profile events in the UK and internationally.
- Proven experience of pro actively identifying challenges before they become problems and reactively solving issues that arise during an event.
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills and attention to detail during the planning and delivery of events.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe Suite including Photoshop.

- No ego. This is a customer and results focused business where the individual will be one part of a critical team and can expect high levels of both challenge and support on all aspects of their remit.
