We are offering an internship at the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA). We’re a national charity dedicated to helping the 40,000 spinal cord injured people (SCI) in the UK to rebuild their lives, as well as offering support for their friends and family. We are looking for someone with drive and ambition, who is keen and committed to learning, and who can use his or her own initiative.

Tasks will include

Supporting the development of a living and ageing well programme for spinal cord injured people and their carers. This will involve researching the evidence, identifying and seeking input from experts in this field and understanding what services & support is already available

The intern will also be able to help set up and attend the development events and actively have a role in shaping the programme

Compiling a note by way of a record of the discussions at the key meetings

Mini research projects and compiling documents for the Public Affairs team

Provide assistance to a number of departments with specific emphasis on research and looking at patterns and trends

The commitment

3 or 4 days per week, ideally 10am-4pm (lunch breaks included)
4-month duration
Flexible times and days to suit you
This role will be based at SIA House, Milton Keynes.
