Fashion Intern / Creative Assistant

Job description

We are looking for an Intern to start immediately.

Time Required: We are looking to recruit a part time assistant to work approx 15 hours per week. We are very flexible and the time will be mixed between working from home and in the shop. This is a very hands-on role working alongside the CEO of a multi-brand fashion boutique based in the lively area of Soho.

We would like an enthusiastic, confident individual with a creative eye to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to gain experience of working within the creative industries, and develop their skills communicating as the voice of a brand. The candidate should be a confident communicator, be able to use their initiative to work independently and also have excellent standards of attention to detail.

The candidate will have the opportunity to learn how a busy fashion business operates, and will gain a real insight into all aspects of fashion retail.

Your tasks will include:

- Assisting with management of online shop and website
- Supporting us at high end events, launch parties, promotional days etc
- assisting Retail Operations
- Visual merchandising
- Building marketing strategies and social media campaigns
- Communication with fashion magazines, press and bloggers
- Online research and development of contact database
- Copy writing, shoot assisting and networking

This internship is available from July 2015. Travel expenses will be paid for trial period of 1 month after which full remuneration will be discussed.

Desired profile

Ideal candidate would be currently or have previously studied a Fashion related Degree or PR/ Marketing, and must posses:

- Strong administration and organisational skills
- A creative flair
- Multitasker
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Self motivated
- marketing knowledge
- Be familiar with all major social Networks, ( Instagram , Facebook , pinterest , youtube .....)
