Job description
The Live Guide is on the lookout for Manchester-based music journalists and feature writers to contribute to our monthly live music magazine.
Each month we distribute The Live Guide, a pocket-sized music guide across the city of Manchester to an audience of 20,000+ at live music venues, bars, coffee shops, theatres, hotels, hostels, universities, student villages, galleries, museums, libraries, tourist information and high street retail stores.
The Live Guide helps readers plan their month ahead with unrivalled physical live music listings. There's also local music news, club night info, interviews, insights from industry insiders, tip-offs about fresh-faced newcomers and soon-to-be favourites, plus sacks of wicked-cool content which our dedicated readers avidly seek out each month.
Since the launch of the magazine, it has been given the seal of approval by the music industry with contributors writing for the magazine including The Charlatans frontman and record label owner Tim Burgess, musician and BBC/Radio X DJ Clint Boon and musician and journalist John Robb.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for new writers to contribute to the following features:

We don't currently have a budget for contributors and all submitted work is on a voluntary basis. In return for your time, we can offer the following:
