Poste et missions:
As Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for the daily operations to support all North American channels of distribution: retail, wholesale and ecommerce. The role is in the center of the organization with interactions with the warehouse, every department of the US corporate office, the points of sale and the French headquarter. Key areas of focus will be to oversee and optimize import follow up, EDI transmission between all systems throughout the entire supply chain, implement and track logistics KPIs as well as coordinate the flow of information between the Paris HQ and the NY team.

You will be reporting to the North America Logistics Director.
Import follow up
- Manage transport from worldwide suppliers from pick up to delivery to the US distribution center
- Daily communication with freight forwarders regarding transport and custom clearance issues
- Quality check at delivery
- Weekly reporting to French HQ regarding in-transit status
- Set up new reports and KPIs
- Forecast volumes (weekly, monthly and seasonal)
- Challenge transport mode based on actual shipping date and expected delivery dates (air, sea, hybrid)
- Make sure all the suppliers are following the corporate procedures
- Manage put away priorities with the distribution center
Stock
- Stock availability: oversee specific projects to ensure that the central stock is always ready to be sold (item and system wise)
- Analyze stock allocation between the internal and external customers
- Stock accuracy: make sure that The Kooples ERP system is in line with 3PLs WMS and guaranty that 3PLs WMS and their physical stock are in line
- Check accuracy between IT information and physical flows
IT and EDI
- Responsible for all EDI transmissions between corporate and external IT systems (Magento, EDI provider, 3PLs WMS, stores’ systems, wholesale partners): monitor flows, run compliance checks, identify issues and fix them with the help of the corporate IT team
- Daily audit of our ERP jobs: order receiving, e-commerce stock picture, ASN, stock movements
- Daily monitoring of our EDI transmissions with our 3PLs
- Hold the role of corporate systems key user and instructor for the US subsidiary
- Act as a main point of contact for system/software questions between the US head office and the French HQ
Profil:
- Candidates must possess a flexible mindset, a high level of organization, the ability to operate autonomously and achieve goals
- The position requires outstanding communication skills, the ability to multitask and set expectations
- Proven track record of complex problem solving and pro-active process improvement
- Knowledge of working with distribution centers
- Master in Excel and Microsoft Tools
- Prior experience with Cegid, Orli and knowledge of EDI messages a plus
- Strong fluency in French language a plus
- The ideal candidate has 2-3 years’ experience in a Logistics environment (retail experience a plus)
