Job description

A successful Classic Car Restoration company based in Oxfordshire requires a highly motivated individual with experience in the motor trade. The position is customer facing and includes; managing and building rapport with clients, consulting and selling new, second hand and restored parts and managing the parts department.

You will be joining a fast paced independent business with a proven track record which has experienced rapid growth over the past four years. We have a team of dedicated and motivated individuals who work as a tight knit organisation. This role is well suited to an individual with motivation to drive and help mould our company into a market leader.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:-

  • Experience of using a Dealer Management System (DMS).

  • High levels of computer literacy and must be proficient on all Microsoft Office programs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to instantly build rapport.

  • Experience of working successfully within a target driven sales environment along with the ability to demonstrate improvements in sales and efficiency.

  • Experience of working within a team and motivating others to achieve a common goal.

  • The ability to work on their own initiative.

  • The ability to work in a structured fashion following proven processes.

  • Excellent numeracy skills.

  • Experience of sales and marketing in the motor trade. Experience of working within a Motor Factor is beneficial but not essential.

  • High levels of mechanical knowledge or a keen interest in motor vehicles.

A full driving licence is required for this position. Candidates with experience of working in a SME and understand the requirement to 'get the job done’ will be welcomed. Overall, this role is ideal for someone with ambition to grow our business and their income.

The role is a full time position.

An attractive salary is allocated for this position and dependant on experience can be expected to be around £25,000 to £32,000 OTE.
