Elliesfriends.org is a website produced by The Eleanor Rose Foundation. We are a small team based out of a TV production company office in Oxford Circus. We are dedicated to improving the lives of adults (16+) living with cancer, all around the UK. We provide frequent freebies from caring businesses and individuals, to offset some of the financial and psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis and “Make the Big C Smaller.”

We are looking for an intern two days a week to help us to grow our service, increase our social media interactions, and to assist with the administration of our offers. Duties will include:

Assisting the Communications and Partnerships Manager in sourcing partner offers by sending emails and telephoning prospective partnership organisations.

Updating the website with new offers and blog posts.

Scheduling social media posts and interacting with respondents on twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Assisting the Fundraising and Services Manager with the administration of offers, inbox management and liaising with service providers and service users.

We are happy to cover reasonable travel expenses. Hours are 10-5 two days a week, on a Tuesday and a Wednesday or Thursday.

Desired profile

Undergraduate degree.
