UNQUALIFIED TEACHER IN LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Unqualified Teacher to work within a cluster of Secondary Schools in London Borough of Havering and the surrounding areas. This work could lead onto you gaining a funded teacher trainee position as we help you to gain experience through short-term and longer-term positions.
JOB TITLE: Unqualified Teacher
START DATE: Immediate start
LOCATION: London Borough of Havering
SALARY: £17,743 - £19,977 for Full-Time. £60-70 per day for Supply Bookings
KEY STAGES: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 and KS4)
CONTRACT: Temporary and Permanent
UNQUALIFIED TEACHER SPECIFICATION
If you are looking to apply for Secondary Teacher Training courses and are looking for paid experience to support your applications then working as an Unqualified Teacher is exactly the role for you! We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, who can work on their own initiative and should have at least a 2:2 degree.
Working under the guidance of our client schools' teaching staff, you will support pupils in and out of the classroom. Duties will include the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties provide teaching support and assist with lunchtime duties at the school.
Unqualified Teacher should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise with both students and teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to a good standard and that any issues that have arisen within the class have been reported back to the safeguarding team at the school.
