Marketing Intern for Film location agency
Internship London (Greater London) Marketing
Job description
The Collective is the London’s leading film location agency
We work with every major film and TV show that comes to shoot in the city.
We constantly uncover and sign exclusive terms with the next big filming location in London. That means we take on total responsibility for marketing and managing filming enquiries.
On paper, each location is supposed to go through a marketing process based on the category it falls into to maximise its exposure across our industry as quickly as possible.
The Collective faces a challenge:
Currently, individual account managers are tasked with completing this marketing process
The account manager’s roles are extremely reactive towards administrating enquiries and converting them into hires.
So, the marketing processes are de-prioritised.
No-one in the account management team can take full ownership of our marketing responsibilities to our locations
There is also no consistent approach and voice to our marketing
At the same time, we are doing a lot right, and are growing from strength to strength as a company.
The solution:
It is the perfect time for The Collective to take on a specialist to take our marketing to the next level
Step 1 is uncovering someone with a passion for marketing and a keen interest in the film and television to maximise the profile of what our portfolio of prestigious and in many cases iconic buildings in London across the film and TV industry.
Your objective is simple. To help us immortalise our exclusive locations as many times as possible on the small and silver screen by widening their exposure to the film and TV industry.
We know we could and should be doing far more than we are to market our company, services and unique structure. Step 2 is planning and implementing just that.
There is a lot more to explain, which we can do with anyone who thinks The Collective and this opportunity is an exciting first step in their career as a marketeer.
Desired profile
Essential:
A qualification in marketing or proven professional marketing experience
A proven keen interest in the film/tv industries
Desirable:
Experience working within a professional environment
