Treasury Analyst EMEA
based in Drogheda

 
Position Overview

As a Treasury Analyst you will primarily focus on the accurate and timely execution of Global Finance Operation (GFO) Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Treasury activities including funding, bank account management, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations along with month-end closing activities in-line with the Company’s policies and procedures.

In this role you will report to the Treasury Team Lead and work closely with GFO process teams, Legal Entity Controllers, Corporate Treasury, Banking partners, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Operations teams, Controls & Compliance, Business Units, Commercial Product Supply (CPS) plants and internal and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

·  Cash forecasting and funding.
·  Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
·  Balance Sheet exposure, estimate, updates and actuals reconciliation.
·  Preparation of CFRE.
·  Bank account administration.
·  Bank guarantees.
·  Accounts Receivable Factoring reports.
·  Mergers & Acquisition and loan activity.
·  Month-end activity.
·  Audit queries.
·  Requests for financing and annual investment.
·  Business Plan preparation for Corporate Treasury.
·  Support Treasury Business Process Lead projects.
·  Internal/external audit, statutory accounting and other requirements.
·  Other ad-hoc reporting requirements.

What you need to be successful


·  Minimum 3 years, ideally 5 years of experience in a Finance/Treasury role.
·  Business degree or similar third level qualification.
·  Fully qualified or part qualified actively pursuing a qualification from a recognised Accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
·  Fluent English is essential and a second language is desirable.
·  Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
·  Excellent SAP or Oracle knowledge and skills.
·  Strong numeric and analytical skills.
·  Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
·  Familiarity with Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement principles and desire to redesign processes and systems to create efficiencies.
