DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:

The Receiver is an important role within the Warehouse Operations. The primary responsibility is to receive all inbound supplies, freight, materials and goods delivered to ASP.

· 
Daily duties include properly receiving inbound freight, materials and goods to ASP.

· 
Properly, efficiently and timely putaways of inbound into the warehouse staging locations.

· 
Maintaining all necessary documentation; assist with entering paperwork into system.

· 
Schedule warehouse appointments with carriers.

· 
Ensure inbound deliveries are properly received in the SAP/DataPass system correctly and are in good condition.

· 
Follows company policies and procedures.

· 
Works in fast paced environment with speed and accuracy.

· 
Must be able to work unsupervised.

· 
Provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external parties.

· 
Perform yard checks to ensure all inbound trailers are receipted and processed.

· 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving materials, product and parcels from vendors and delivery services; Verifying items delivered are correct per BOL and are in good condition; Receipt via SAP/DataPass system; Filing paperwork for auditing purposes; Stocking items in warehouse; Pulling or picking items ordered from warehouse; Delivering items throughout ASP; Keeping the receiving and warehouse areas safe and clean; Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

 

· 
Related Work Experience  At least 6 months

· 
Previous experience as a shipper, receiver, warehouse operator

· 
Internal candidates must be approved by immediate supervisor/manager and have a minimum of Successfully Meets expectations on previous Year End Review

· 
Ability to work flexible hours

· 
Must be a team player that put the business at the forefront of decisions
