DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:
Position Overview:
The Product Commercialisation Specialist is responsible to project manage the timely introduction of new and reformulated products into the commercial market place. It includes leading and co-ordinating all activities required to deliver the first production of the new product to Bottlers on time to meet market launch date. This position works closely with the Business Units, R&D, CPS plants, bottlers and support functions to optimize the commercialisation process and shorten lead-time.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Co-ordination and Execution of all functions relating to New Customers and New Products Introduction, Formula and Pack size Changes. Reformulations, formula discontinuations, Supply Point Shifts including Logistics and Customer Services.
· This includes information on the potential write off in case of formula change and financial consequences. Ensure minimum write off costs during a formulation change.
· Analyze prototypes for New Products/Reformulations created by R& D and give feedback by means of updating Coke Works database
· Liaise with Division SRA on reformulations and update on change-over dates
· Coordination of the first batch of a New Product up to dispatch in order to meet the launch date, part of which include:
· Coordinate the feasibility study to verify if processes and raw materials are fine for the New Product to be launched, if there are issues Business Unit is notified to initiate a change in the Formula to suit the process capability.
· Update Product Commercialization database and New Products Introduction information monthly.
· Create and maintain projects in EJT.
· Compile data for Business Plan Process as requested by Finance
· Comply with and assure strict compliance with the norms and Safety & Occupational Health Procedures applicable to work area.
· Maintain relationships with other Departments and Support functions within the organization for the co-ordination and timely resolution of other activities affecting process.
· Carry out other duties as assigned by the Commercialization Manager from time to time.
· Modify existing Bills of Material for all products as the need arises.
· Coordinate standard cost compilation process, then send the information to the Business Unit.
· Ensure product prices are sourced from the Business Units before the first order is received.
· Compile and modify when necessary procedures and processes related to new introductions and changes to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Initiate the master data creation process for execution by MDM team and internal CPS teams.
Safety Standards
· · Cooperate and follow instructions given by the employer (CCS Leadership Team) Commissioner of Labour, Inspector or any other person lawfully authorized to give such instructions in keeping the working conditions safe and without risk to health and injury in the field of that activity.
· · Use, any means, appliance, equipment or other safety devise for securing safety and health as provided by the employer (CCS Leadership Team) for use and protection of the employee or property in any process an per the instructions given by the employer or any person lawfully authorized to do so.
Report to the employer (CCS Leadership Team) any situation as soon as it becomes unsafe or unhealthy, or where an accident occurs report such accident to the employer or supervisor.

· BU Commercialization Managers- weekly updates on commercialization projects. COGS compilation
· Business Unit SRA managers- formula review and comments
· Supply Chain, Marketing and Brand Managers- Reviewing project plans and status updates.
· Product Developers- R&D centers: Review of formulations and feasibility assessment. Feedback to developers on formulations/prototypes provided, COGS compilation
· Juice Suppliers - Service, pack configuration alignment and consolidated COGS
· CONCO Management- Monthly Update in S& OP and QMS meeting on Commercialization process and projects.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
3-5 years experience in CPS, Supply Chain, Technical or QSE activity within the Coca-Cola Company
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· University/Bachelors degree in Science, Business or Supply Chain desirable

· Making delivery commitments to Business Units for New Products on behalf of CONCO
· Advise Divisions on next steps with regards to exposures resulting from New Product launches and reformulations.
