Global Business Services (GBS)

GBS is The Coca-Cola Company's multi-functional internal shared-services organization providing a wide range of transactional services across all Coca-Cola business units within functional areas such as: Finance and Procurement Operations, Human Resources Operations, Workplace Strategy and Operations, Controls and Compliance, Change Practice, Operational Excellence, Data Governance, User Experience and Digital, and Creative Business Solutions. Our GBS main locations are Warsaw (Poland), Drogheda (Ireland), Buenos Aires (Argentina), San José (Costa Rica), Manila (Philippines), and Atlanta (Georgia, USA).

Our GBS Hub in Warsaw provides its services mainly to the above mentioned business units in Europe, Middle East and Africa. On top of that we deliver a number of select services to Coca-Cola operations across the globe. Established in 2010 with a current approximate number of 200 associates from around 20 different nationalities, this rapidly growing team is highly capable and diverse. The GBS Hub uses the latest Cloud based technology in its focus to drive productivity for the world's largest beverage company.

Finance Trainee
based in Warsaw

Position Overview

As a Trainee in one of our GBS Finance Team, you will gain an extensive experience of various aspects of AP and Payroll processes. You will be taking part in daily operations and widespread your experience in various aspects of financial process and service. In addition you will join multicultural work environment that provide you with a truly international experience.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Trainee you will provide a day to day support to our best in class specialist. You key responsibilities include collaborating with internal clients and vendors across Europe, Eurasia & Africa (60 countries).

Our GBS Finance Teams

Account Payable Controls
Team responsible for performing seasonal (quarterly) vendor balance confirmation , incl. reconciliation of information on vendor accounts vs. Company books , communication and cooperation with vendors in the search for root causes, and issues resolution.

Account Payable
Team responsible for ensuring a smooth and seamless invoicing process with the goal of timely and correct payment of our suppliers and business partners in order to minimize risk and increase productivity for our operations in Europe, Eurasia and Africa.

Procure to Pay
P2P Service Center team act as a single point of contact as well as the face of our Center toward all Coca-Cola associates and external vendors e.g. agency partners following up on the status of their accounts payable (AP) or procurement related items , investigating root causes, troubleshooting issues and maintaining a smooth information flow regarding P2P processes with parties involved

Payroll
Team responsible for providing the pre-payroll & payroll processes ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll and remuneration to associates. As Payroll Delivery Trainee will closely work with EU Payroll Delivery Specialists and Analysts and with EU Payroll Accounting team to enquire better understanding of the payroll delivery process.

What you need to be successful

·  Must be highly proficient (verbal and written) in English, any additional language is an advantage
·  Proficient in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and technologically savvy
·  Detail oriented and good at planning and organizing
·  Strong customer service attitude/orientation and excellent oral and written communication and listening skills
·  Good at task/time management in order to provide exceptional follow up
·  Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
