An award-winning, all-day casual dining café / restaurant looking for exceptional, customer focused team members to offer great customer service and train as baristas. This is a busy site with a great team, low staff turnover and buzzy atmosphere. We are in the heart of a beautiful park (just a ten minute walk from the tube station) and we are only open day-times. We are currently looking for full time staff.

What we are looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic person, who has a real passion for the hospitality, customer service and the restaurant industry. This role will involve working as a waiter and barista (full off-site training given), we take our coffee very seriously and we invest our time in making sure you can make the perfect cup. As well as being a barista you will be part of our front of house team; taking food, taking orders, clearing tables and helping our customers. The café can get very busy so you will need a strong personality to ensure that the day runs smoothly and all customers leave happy.

Who we are:

The Café in the Park offers all-day, casual dining with a conscience. No airs and graces here, we like staff to be themselves and to be comfortable. We have a relaxed attitude to uniform (we give you a t-shirt) but we are high on professionalism. This is a one-site brand with the owners highly involved in all activities. Our kitchen brigade work closely alongside front of house with both teams closely supporting the other.

We are runners up in The Guardian and The Observer Food Monthly 2014 awards in their Cheap Eats Category (dining for under £15 per head). We were named as the second best Summer café in the UK by The Times in August 2015.The café is in the Rickmansworth Aquadrome, a 100 acre site of woods, grass and lakes. It is a ten minute walk from Rickmansworth station and a ten minute drive from Watford. We pay the living wage. Salary: £15,800.00 /year .
