Job Title:
System Engineer – Revenue Collection System (RCS)
Contexts:

This position is to work on our Revenue Collection Systems (RCS). Thales Revenue Collection Business Line designs and supplies a wide range of ticketing solutions ranging from equipping a line to rolling out multimodal and multi-operator integrated systems based on contactless technologies and suitable for both metro and bus networks.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the System Engineering work for RCS project;
· Participate in full engineering cycle in requirement, design, development, test and validation;
· Support the System Engineering Manager for the day to day project tasks;
· Responsible for the engineering bid support for the RCS tender;
· Support to the Project Design Authority and/or Bid Manager where required.

Requirements

· Degree holder with Engineering/Computer Science Background;
· 3-5 years of relevant working experiences;
· Experience in ticketing, contactless smart card and transaction system, experiences in Automatic Fare Collection system project is preferable;
· Large scale of server/clients deployment, migration to a live production system or system upgrade;
· Embedded System experience advantageous;
· Knowledge and solid experiences on Microsoft Windows Server, and embedded system such as VxWorks, Linux, WinCE;
· Experience in technical writing and consolidation of documents;
· Strong planning and document writing skills;
· Self-motivated and strong trouble shooting skill;
· Team Player and willing to work under pressure and limited time;
· Fluent able to speak and write Mandarin/English;
· Willing to travel occasionally (if needed).
