We are currently looking for a Logistics Intern to join the Thales ASW team in Piscataway, NJ .
The intern will perform daily support tasks for Receiving, Order Picking, Packaging, Shipping and Inventory Counts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support for Receiving, Inspection & Shipping of customer repairs and stocking inventory
2. Provide support in the Ship Preparation of repaired units
3. Provide support for the Cycle Counting program
4. Provide support for Distribution Order picking
5. Support Housekeeping requirements
6. Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
Education/Training/Work Experience
1. College student majoring in the Business, Accounting or Supply Chain degreed program, of an accredited college
2. Basic Microsoft PC skill set, ability to acclimate to SAP, FedEx, UPS software
3. Attention to detail
4. Be able to lift 50 pounds
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
Good interpersonal relationship skills and motivation. Good oral, written, and communication skills. Should have an ability to work independently.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Clean logistics / warehouse type area.
Some stress may occur.
