Our Ground Transportation Business is working on a step-changing project called Four Lines Modernisation or 4LM. This project is the world's largest signalling upgrade created to improve and modernise the signalling systems of four of London Underground's most important railway lines: Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan which account for 40% of the Underground's traffic.

We have an exciting opportunity based in our Stratford office for a Signalling Design Technical Assistant to join the Signalling Design team and take responsibility for the management of design artefacts, ensuring change management, data management and configuration management is adhered to.

Key duties:

· Day to day Signalling Document management.
· Issue control documents out to the client, Installation and Test teams under strict controls and procedures applicable to the railway environment.
· Upload files into the data management tools, configurations management tools and final repositories.
· Generate signalling technical control documents.
· Manage the issuing of wire counts.
· Liaise with the client engineering records teams whether Network Rail or London Underground.
· Work within ProjectWise to manage signalling drawings. Skills and experience required:

· Worked in the Railway engineering environment.
· Has demonstrated design capabilities and can work under supervision.
· Able to use basic IT tools such as Word & Excel.
· Able to use CAD tools to produce documents.
· Has sound knowledge of Configuration control.
· Has sound knowledge of Data Management.
· Has sound knowledge of Change Control.
· GCSE Maths ad English or equivalent. To apply:
