We are currently looking for an Inspector III- Receiving Inspection to join the Thales Inflyt Experience team in Irvine.

The Inspector III will perform inspection, conformity preparation and final buy-off of products shipped to customers. Include parts, assemblies and kits.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform inspection of LRUs, parts, components, cable, harnesses, sheet metal, assemblies, sub-assemblies, plastic parts, mechanical, electro-mechanical parts, raw materials and shelf
· life items.
· Verifies documentation, C of Cs, FAIs, Material certifications, ATPs from supplier.
· Perform visual inspection, precision dimension check, electrical continuity, color verification,
· marking & damage of all parts received from supplier.
· Verifies drawing revision level, engineering changes, serial numbers and date code as
· applicable. Review FAI for all new design parts, components and assemblies.
· Issue rejection report (MDN) for part nonconformance and RIPR for missing documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

· One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
