Operations and Customer Support Engineer (Hardware / Software)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Within the ASW Business Segment, the Avio team is in charge of Sales, Development and Support of a portfolio of digital solutions aiming at improving airlines operational efficiency (see www.avio.aero ).

Our customer footprint in Asia is expanding and therefore we have decided to settle some permanent resources in Singapore to support our regional customers and to strengthen our 24/7 worldwide customer support capability.

Based in Singapore, reporting to Avio Operations in Hasselt, Belgium, the candidate will be integrated in a worldwide operations & customer support organization as a customer support engineer. He/She will manage close technical relationship with regional customers' operations staff, supporting them on a daily basis. He/She will be involved in the roll-out of solutions to airlines.

· Support Avio customers in their daily operations. Mainly focused on Asian customers but not only
· Technical support on Aviobook customer projects (set up and maintain customer infrastructure, perform upgrades, etc.)
· Contribute in growing the business by technically supporting Asian sales
· Manage technical relationship with local partners such as Amazon Web Services in Singapore

Requirements:


· Degree in Software development / Hardware integration or User Interface design.. etc.
· 2 to 5 years of experience in an airline IT organisation, supporting Flights Operations or Ground Operations
· Passionate about software, server technology, cloud solutions
· Solution-oriented, autonomous, customer-focused
· Creative, think out of the box
· Able to communicate Mandarin comfortably with Airline Customers
